What do I need to send?
Two to four photos of each person on their own: one clear face-on, plus a couple that show their hair and style (the hat, the chain, the glasses). Then 3 to 14 photos of your moments with a line or two about each: where you met, the first trip, the inside joke. Phone photos are perfect.
Will the characters look like us?
Yes. We draw each character from your photos and show them to you first. Not quite right, like the haircut came out wrong? Tell us in plain words and we redraw them, as often as it takes. Once you approve, they're saved to your account and keep the same face, hair and outfit in every scene.
Can I request changes?
Yes. The storyboard is about 12 to 20 still frames, one per scene, with the narration line under each. It arrives in about 2 hours. Approve it, or tap any frame and tell us what to change. Each scene gets 3 free redos, and if a character still isn't right you can change them and we redraw every scene they're in. If you don't reply within 24 hours, we approve it for you and start animating.
How long does it take?
Characters in about 20 minutes after you order, storyboard about 2 hours after you approve them, film within 24 hours of storyboard approval. With Priority: characters in 10 minutes, storyboard in 30 minutes, film within 6 hours.
Do both people need to agree?
Yes. At checkout you confirm that everyone in the photos knows about the film and is happy to be in it. For a surprise, the person in it just needs to be comfortable with their photos being used.
Can I pick the music or the voice?
You pick the mood and the narrator's voice. We choose licensed music that fits. You can't upload your own song yet.
What if we don't love it?
Every film includes scene redos after delivery (1 for the 1-minute film, 2 for 90 seconds). If it still isn't right, we refund you in full. See the Refund & Redo Policy.
What happens to our photos?
They are used only to make your film and are deleted 30 days after delivery. Your film is private and never used in our marketing without written permission. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I make one for my kids?
No. LoveMotion is for adults and the partners and friends in their lives. Please don't upload photos of children.
